The Process
Booking your session
Contact me and we can go over everything! Fill out my quick form so I know where you are in this process. I will want to know your special requests, how we can make them happen and offer suggestions as well. I will check in with you along the way for any updates and guidance.
The day of the session
The day is here! If you are coming to the NH lakes region studio or if I am meeting you on location, please try to arrive 10 to 15 minutes early. Especially if little ones are joining us so we can all get comfortable with each other as well as any dressing or last minute prep. Most importantly, after rushing to get out of your house, its a time to just breath and lets have some fun!
Gallery review & ordering
After your session we will review your gallery of finished images and I’ll guide you through choosing your products for printing to be sure they don’t get pushed to the side for later. Everyone will walk away with digitals AND prints. (This takes place typically about 7-10 days after your session).
Pricing & Information
The $175 Retainer Fee covers Jen’s time and talent and is required to reserve your session date and time.
Prints and digital products are purchased separately after you receive your gallery and have viewed your images. All Collections include both digital images and print credit starting at $350. This allows you the opportunity to view your images first and select what best suits your family.

When is the best time to photograph my newborn?
The best time to photograph your newborn is within the first 2 weeks of their birth. There are certainly exceptions, for example if they are a preemie or with any type of complications at birth. I can still work with you to get those amazing photographs of your new little one!
When is the best time to photograph Maternity portraits?
The best time to photograph is between 32 to 36 weeks of pregnancy.
How do I book a session with you?
Booking a photography session is easy. Simply reach out to me through my website, email, or phone, and let me know the type of session you're interested in. I will guide you through the process, discuss your requirements, and find a convenient date and time for your session.
Can we choose the location for our photo shoot?
Absolutely! I believe that the location plays a significant role in capturing unique and personalized photographs. Whether it's at your home, a scenic outdoor location, or at my NH studio, I am open to capturing your portraits in a place that holds meaning to you.
How long does a typical photo session last?
The duration of a photo session varies depending on the type and scope of the project. Maternity sessions range from 60-90 minutes, Milestone sessions can be up to an hour, while Newborn sessions typically range from 2 to 3 hours in duration. I strive to provide ample time to capture all the important moments and ensure you feel relaxed and comfortable throughout the session.
How long does it take to receive the final edited photos?
I understand the anticipation of seeing your final portraits. My editing process typically takes 7-10 days, depending on the volume of images and the complexity of editing required. I prioritize quality and attention to detail to deliver exceptional images that exceed your expectations. Once they are complete, I will reach out to schedule your viewing appointment with me either in person or via zoom/teams.
What happens if the weather is unfavorable on the day of an outdoor shoot?
If the weather doesn't cooperate on the day of an outdoor shoot, we can discuss alternatives such as rescheduling the session or finding an indoor location. I want to ensure the best possible outcome for your portraits, and I am flexible in adapting to unforeseen circumstances.
Can we include Family and/or siblings?
Yes absolutely! Maternity, Newborn or 1 year milestone sessions can include family portraits as well as siblings!

Welcome! I am so happy you are here and taking the first steps of looking for a professional photographer. Whether it be for your growing family, the beginning of your love story, or even to update your headshots, I hope to be the one to help you!
I started this journey rather haphazardly right out of high school in 1993 simply looking for a seasonal job to help pay for rent and that quickly lead me to a career in managing busy portrait studios. After starting my own family and quickly realizing working 10 and 12 hour shifts, missing so many treasured life moments of my own kids, I decided to break out and start my own business in 2008.
Decades later, with a ton of online, in person classes, certifications and self training, I am still here, loving every part of this. Meeting so many unique and beautiful people and helping to tell their stories is what keeps me coming back for more!
