FAQ
How many pictures will we receive?
Every wedding varies depending on the amount of guests and activities scheduled, but on average we range 80-100 images per hour
How do I know if 2 hours will be enough?
For most elopements & micro-weddings 2 hours is plenty of time to photograph all the important moments! Getting ready, Ceremony, Formal Pics of Family & Couple. However I am happy to go over what I recommend with what you two already have planned. You can always just book the base package and add on later if you need to!
When is the best time to book?
Once you have your venue booked is when you should start booking me! Many couples book 12-18 months in advance. Many want engagement sessions a year ahead so that they can use the images for their save the dates!
Do I need a second photographer?
We have been documenting weddings for 3 decades now and 90% of them have been just one photographer and if you hire for photo/video, 1 photo, 1 video. We have full confidence that we will document every single important moment in your day. However, on occasion, we have recommended hiring a second photographer. It is completely situational and we are happy to discuss!
Do you have insurance?
Yes! We carry general liability insurance. Some venues will require your vendors to have this in order for them to work at the venue. I can provide a certificate to you or directly to your venue per request.
Are we allowed to print our photos?
Yes! Please do! While I do offer a full marketplace with your online gallery to order anything professionally printed through me, when you receive your digitals, they do come with a personal print release. I always recommend Mpix for all my clients to use if you are not printing through me.
Do you charge travel fees?
Unless discussed for the wedding day no travel fees are required. Typically if the wedding is 2 hours or less of a drive from our location we do not charge. (Barnstead NH).
Engagement sessions I do charge for locations outside a 30 min driving radius.
When will I receive my photos/video?
First, within 24 hours of your elopement/micro wedding I will share a sneak peek! Finally in about 3-4 weeks your final gallery will be sent to you and if you have any physical items like the custom USB and display box or canvas, those are ordered and will be in your hands at about the 5-6 week mark. Albums take a little longer as I will share the predesigned layout with you at that time for your approval, and then ordered.
